The Abdullatif Alissa Automotive Company, the member of National Automotive Trading (NAT), a part of corporate social responsibility has launched a new program for training and employment of people with special needs in various departments of the company.

The company works closely with relevant institutions and specialized societies for the recruitment and training of employees with special needs. In this regard, in 2004 the company signed an agreement with Human Resources Development Fund for the Saudization of its staff, and opened Alissa Center for Training and Development in collaboration with Saudi Vocational Training Organization, and started training a group of people with special needs.

The company has started its recruiting program for people of special needs where four of them already joined in the company this year, with the number set to increase in the coming years. Its staff of people of special needs, particularly those who are physically disabled, are treated like regular employees with respect, dignity based on their merit, but provided with certain facilities, such as special entrance, elevators and hallways, to enable them to reach their offices easily.

After rehabilitation and training of staff of special needs they work in administrative affairs and secretarial works. Plans are also underway to rehabilitate some of them to work in Customers Services and Call Sales departments.
